These past two weeks Jon has been "out of town" (to downtown Houston) for work. It may seem silly, but although we only live an hour away, Jon's convention was from 7 am to 10:30 pm Monday thru Saturday so DOW booked him a room at the Four Seasons Hotel, where the conference was held. He was bummed at first since all the prior conference had been held in Germany, and Brazil, but it turn out good in the end since we were able to visit him on Sunday and meet up with him on the last day.
Oh, and here is the kicker, because Jon waited til late Sunday night to check into the hotel, they ran out of room and had to assign him a suite! Lucky Duck!
He really enjoyed the conference, got to meet lots of people he will be able to network with, learned a lot, and got treated like royalty.
The last day of the conference, the kids and I met up with Jon at the hotel ate lunch with him and some of his co-workers there, and had a fun evening planned for the kids.
We first took them to the Houston Rodeo! It was a blast!
We sure missed Jon these past two weeks, but were glad to have so much fun living it up in Houston, being treated like royalty!

Then we went out to eat to an AMAZING Thai restaurant!
My mouth is watering just thinking about it! We ended the night relaxing to a movie.
Kiki was pooped after a long long day!
The next day we woke up early and headed home!
We had to make a pit stop for Kolaches of course!
