Dancel team tryouts

Tonight I was able to judge the Dance Team tryout for LJI. I had not judged a dance competition or tryouts for at least 10-15 years. I felt a little rusty but it was fun!

I used to judge quite often when we lived in Utah. I love doing it!

Courts of Honor

This weekend was a busy weekend for Jon.

He had 2 Courts of Honor to attend. Jon spent the past 10 years very involved in scouting. Having been a scout master for most of these years. He has had the opportunity to impress and touch the lives many young men.

Ben Zufelt, was one of Jon's scouts when we lived in Saudi. And this weekend Ben wanted to recognize Jon by giving him his "mentor pin". This meant a lot to Jon.

The next day Jon attended Josh Gillis Court of Honor.

Jon was Josh's scout master for a few years before going to Saudi, and upon our return Jon mentored Josh during his Eagle Scout Project. Jon was asked to give a speech during the ceremony.

Best present ever!

This cutie has my heart! Eden told me that I was the best present ever. He also said that Jesus and Heavenly Father were the best presents too! He then added that spending time together made him the happiest! Can't get better than this! I just love his sweet spirit!
