Keilani sang and danced with Kiki's frozen doll all day long today! She was so cute!

Daddy does ballet

Tonight was a daddy daughter ballet class. It was so much fun!!!! Kiki and all of her friends were so happy to have their daddies there looking funny trying to do what they do! Something I had never done before but will surely do again! WE LOVE OUR DADDY! Jon is such a good sport!

I don't post nearly enough pictures of Julien playing! He will never let me record him however, I have to be sneaky. He is so talented! I love listening to him. When he is home, he is on the piano constantly. I just love that! This song he just started learning today, I am so impressed!

Planting season here!

One of the things I love about south Texas is that we have more than 1 planting season! Logan, Kiki, Eden. Keilani, and I spent all Friday weeding and planting my garden! It was a lot of fun! I love to be in my little garden, it is my little piece of heaven.

Happy Valentines Day!

I love to do spoil my little family and let them know I love and care for them. Valentines day is the perfect time for me to do that!

I got the littles a valentines day outfit they could wear to school! They all looked so cute!

I made a special dinner and had treats and gifts for everyone. Yes! I was not fancy and used paper plates...  I still had to go to work that night and wanted to eliminate the amount of work Jon and the boys had to do to clean up dinner.



Jon sent me a nice bitmoji letting me know how much he loved me... lol!





















And was very thoughtful by giving me this frame which says "you are so beautiful to me". I thought it was pretty cute even tough I don't know what to do with this collage picture of myself.

I had a hot tub hang out planned for Jon! We did not get to celebrate on Valentines day but did celebrate the next day! It was good to be able to relax and spend some time talking about things. We are so busy that we hardly ever get any time together.

La chandeleur

Today is La Chandeleur. 

In France, the month of February starts with the celebration of Candlemas- la Chandeleur- which occurs on the 2nd, which is 40 days after Christmas. This religious celebration recalled the Presentation of Jesus to the Temple. The origins of the Chandeleur date back to a pagan feast. According to local customs, candles had to be lit at midnight as symbol of purification. Chandeleur come from the latin "candelarum" as does the English word candle. The church adapted the tradition into the blessing of the candles, where were to repel evil... Thus reminding all that Christ is the light of the world. Christians would then come back to their homes with the blessed candles in order to protect them. It was also at that time of the year that the winter seed time started. The surplus flower was then used without too much fish of shortage and crepes were made as symbol of prosperity for the coming year.

We too celebrated by making crepes! And everybody participated!!!

Smokey Joe's Cafe

Yesterday some of the PE girls and I went to go see Smokey Joe's Cafe to see Elon perform. She did an amazing job. I did not know she could sing so well! It was a very fun night!
