Happy New Years!

Hard to believe that another year has come and gone already!

In celebration of the new year, I made a nice traditional french dinner called Raclette.
It is a fondued cheesed served with cured meats and potatoes.

Elder Holyoak, one of the missionaries who previously served in our area came to visit!
It was wonderful seeing him and how well he is doing!
He was such a wonderful example and good friend to Julien and Logan.

Little note Jon and I left for the family to wake up for things to work on this upcoming year!
I cannot wait to for all the memories we will make as a family this year.
Julien and Logan are growing up fast and before I know it they will be moved out and living on their own! I want to savor every little moment I have left with them!

Best Christmas present EVER

My parents and Alex surprise us early Christmas morning!
It was the best Christmas present ever!
We were all so happy to see them.

During their visit we played many games!

My mom taught Kiki to knit.

Hot tubbing!

Papi teaching Logan Taro.
The Magre family love playing Taro.
When we get together we play nearly every night!

My parents and Alex took Kiki and Julien to Galveston for the day.
I did not go because I had a few sick kiddos at the house!

Eden got sick...

Than Kiki...

Then Keilani...

Time to say goodbye!
I love my family and love that they just show up to surprise us!
They are the best!

Some chocolate my parents brought back for me from France.
I love these Pyrenees chocolate. Not only are they delicious, but they remind me of my grandmothers
house. She always had a box that we could pick one or two from.

Merry Christmas

This Christmas we decided on adding a new tradition.
Before the fun of opening presents begin, we watched a Christmas video to bring the spirit in our home and to remind us that the purpose of today is to remember Christ, his birth, his life, his example and teachings, and his sacrifice.

Let the excitement of opening presents begin!
