Quarantication week 5

Quarantication week 5- April 12-18

I wanted to express my love for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and that I am eternally grateful for His sacrifice for me. Sunday morning I read some of my favorite chapters from the Book of Mormon (3 Nephi chapters 11-26) which recounts Christ visiting the inhabitants in America after His resurrection. These chapters are so powerful. Every time I read them, I feel the love, mercy, and compassion Jesus Christ has towards all so strongly.
There is Peach in Christ! #HearHim

Last week I took out my sewing machine and attempted to make bunny bags for each of the kids for Easter. They loved them which made me so happy.

We started out our Sunday with a Easter egg hunt

After the Easter egg hunt we had a delicious rib dinners with various festive breads and rolls.

Following our meal we had service. Where Kiki and Julien gave great talks on Easter and Jesus Christ atonement.

Jon's pinatas!

Later that week we cracked the Easter pinata I had bought!
It's always such a hit! LOL! No pun intended!

Little hot tub time with the hubby!

Baby cheetah!

Bathroom remodel!
A few days after the kids started using the newly remodeled bathroom number 1 we noticed that we had a leak in the ceiling. There had been a leak there previously to us moving but since we did not use that bathroom much we could not tell where the problem truly came from. After some cutting through ceiling and wall, Jon found the leak. He was able to fix it and than once again patch everything up.... so much work!
🤯😱🤯😱

Pool time!

This week we had our first work meeting since the quarantine to discuss what our plan should be to make some revenue and keep our dancers skills up.

On Wednesday Julien got the most exciting news!
His mission call!

He was called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Lyon, France Mission. His report date is July 1st.

His assignment was quite emotional. We are all so very excited for him. I cried like a baby and brayed like a donkey 😆 all because of the joy I felt! Raising a teenager is not always easy, and yet I see the young man Julien has become and am proud of him and the decisions and choices he has made to be worthy and have such a strong desire to serve God, and dedicate 2 years of his life to serve and bring others into Christ.
Furthermore, the Lyon, France mission covers Bordeaux which is where I grew up. Knowing that he will be able to experience part of his heritage makes me so happy. I am grateful that he may have the opportunity to live, meet, serve, and befriend many of my family members and friends whom I love so much!

About 2 weeks ago I started running again. I had not been able to run much over the past 1 1/2 years due to injury. I'm happy to finally be able to get some mileage in. This run was the longest run in a long long time. Feeling so good! 🏃🏼‍♀️❤️

Eden's google meets!
He loved seeing his classmates.

My mom has been amazing teaching the young kids French.
Now she has offered to hold French class with Julien and Logan to help Logan with his AP French exam and Julien's conversational skills. I am so grateful for her and all she is doing to help my children succeed!
