A few weeks before we left Jon was told he needed surgery on a mass he had on his neck. Surgery was for the day after we left. This was especially hard because this meant that I would not be there for the surgery and his recovery.
He was so brave and went by himself.
His lipoma turn out to be benign which was such a relief. He had 2 the size of a softball.
They were huge.
One of his friends, Mustafa came to the hospital to check on him and brought him some goodies for comfort.
He is recovering very well!
Jon was impressed at the team of doctors, surgeon and nurses that took care of him.
