Jon's friend Jaber invited him over to his house for Iftar dinner.
It was good for Jon to have some fun while we were away.
His friends are great and are so good about getting Jon to have many cultural experiences.

slip and slide
Papi made a slip and slide to cool these kiddos off from the summer heat!

AF canyon RUN AGAINST CANCER 1/2 marathon
This morning Julien and I woke up super early and did our first 1/2 marathon of the summer, American Fork Canyon run against cancer.
It was such an awesome run. Several of the athletes who were running amongst us were cancer survivors. It was very inspiring!
The last mile is always the hardest, but that is the time I just push myself and try to sprint to the finish line!
We made it!
Julien did amazing!
I was pretty happy with my time.
The elevation is Utah makes running very challenging.
