T & Maruia Tie the Knot

Today my dear brother Thiefaine and his beautiful wife Maruia got sealed for time and all eternity in the Papeete, Tahiti LDS Temple. Jon and I were bummed that we were not able to make it for multiple reasons, but our hearts were with them none the less. We are so happy to have Maruia join our family. She is such a wonderful, loving person, and I cannot wait to get to know her more.
And she is also super talented, she made her own wedding dress in less than 3 days! AMAZING!

Christmas photoshoot!

Here are some of the pictures we took for our Christmas cards which will hopefully be sent before January 31st!!! LOL! Sending cards is definitely not my forte!

I tried to create a back drop and do some pictures at home and some turned out ok! I just really like the outdoor shots a lot more.

In front of the Civil Center, down town Lake Jackson!

 Under the mistletoe!
This picture is probably my favorite! I especially love Julien and Kiki's faces!

Here are a few pictures I snapped of Julien, Logan, and Kia Ora talking to each other in between the shoot!

 Merry Christmas from my cuties!

We needed a little break from picture taking and from the heat mostly, it was 81 degrees. The library seemed like a nice place.

Jon and I wanted to reward the kids for behaving so well during the shoot, so we headed to the Wurst House, and had some mighty good German food.

Right next door to the Wurst House was this very cool looking soon to open pub. I just had to give it another try and do some family shots there since it was such a cool location.
And I am quite happy with the results!

Squint!
It was so so HOT for December!

Tri-Ward Nativity Exhibit!

Our tri-ward area put together a beautiful Nativity exhibit for the community. There were over 150 different nativities set up, with beautiful Christmas music, movies of the Savior's birth, activities for young children, treats, and a photo station! The whole thing was awesome and I can't wait to help out again next year.

Kia Ora helping me make cookies for the exhibit. And TASTE them of course!

Walking through all the beautiful nativities!

Getting all dressed up for the pictures!

I love Jon's beard, he kind of looks like Moses!

I love Julien's face in this picture. He was being such a good sport!
It is not always easy to do when you are pre-teen and you are too cool for things!
