Quarantication week 2
Quarantication week 2- March 22- 28
First week of home church!
It was not so foreign to us. While living in Saudi we often did home church.
I love the simplicity of it and love sharing something so special in such an intimate setting.
First week of homeschool!
Because of the quarantine, teachers worked quickly to set up school work virtually.
It is definitely a learning curve for students and teachers. The teachers send out a assignments for the week or the day on a site called seesaw and or google classroom, and the kids post their assignments there. The students also had access to many learning sights such as IXL, Istation, STMath ..... where they have to spend time answering questions and moving along the program. Luckily, the school district allowed each child to bring their school chromebook home so they had a computer to work on.
Keilani wanted to do homework too!
My mom decided to start a French class of all the grandkids via zoom!
They love it so much!
After nearly every school day which lasts 8:30-2 approximately for us, we rush to the pool for some much needed fun!
My garden is looking great!
I find it so relaxing to sit there and watch it grow.
More bathroom remodeling
My dear friend Becca found this cute little panda in her house and thought of Keilani who loves pandas so much. Receiving it made her day!!!!!
They also surprised us with this sweet note on our driveway.
I am loving having more piano time to listen to while everyone is home.
Jon spent some time making pinatas with the littles!
Kiki and I spent some time in the studio on Saturday recording dances to sent out to her class so they can practice their dances for the show.
The kids decided to go camping over the weekend.
The littles were so excited.
I love that Eden was so eager to help set up the tents!
What's camping without s'mores! 😋

Quarantication week 1
Upon our return from our cruise we quarantined ourselves since we did not know if we had been affected by covid 19 🦠. Shortly after the entire country followed by the rest of the world went into quarantine. It almost feels as if the world stopped. Not for all, for I know that some are working tirelessly to fight this disease. As for us, we have tried to stay busy, keep our moral up, and take advantage of some amazing family time opportunities.
Week 1- March 15- 21
We decided to start remodeling the kids bathroom!
It was much needed, these bathrooms were very grungy and outdated!
It’s a lot of work but I know it will be so worth it!
One of Logan’s goals for this year was to make a tomahawk throwing station and learn to throw various knives and axes more accurately. He was able to finish it and practice his skills.
Everyday the boys need to pick a chore or home maintenance project to work on.
Enjoying some big brother time! 🥰
Finally warm enough to dip our toes in the pool!
Still too cold for me! 😬🥶
Pretty grateful for food storage!
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I am glad we have been taught to prepare for times like these!
Love my keilani girl!
One of Julien’s goals to be mission ready was to learn to cut hair.
He is getting pretty good!
He loves it when he gets hair cut requests!
Julien and Logan have been spending time with Eden, teaching him basketball 🏀
Eden is so happy to be part of the big boys and learning basketball.
