Tonight the littles really wanted to do some baking as they had been watching baking shows all afternoon. Keilani was really interested in the unicorn baking kit I got, so we made and decorated unicorn cupcakes!
The kids had a blast making and tasting their creations!

Happy Thanksgiving

Yet again Thanksgiving dinner was a success. Our good friends the Meservy family and the missionaries joined us for our thanksgiving feast. The missionaries had a nice message for us after dinner. And we finished off the night by watching the Elf movie. Today was a big hit!

The kids often ask me to paint their faces as animals. Keilani always seems to go for the cheetah.

This time Kiki and Eden wanted to be tigers.

I love that they play so well together and have fun playing make belief.

Hand in Hand

For many years I have wanted to do a special project for the home with the Hand in Hand quote I had  once read at church as we were discussing Christ and his perfect, selfless, loving hands. This is not the exact quote because I could not find it, but it was very similar to this. I was so inspired by it when I first saw it that it stayed with me, and I wanted my hands as well as the hands of my family become each of these perfect Christlike attributes.

Perhaps seeing and reading this quote each day would aspire us to be better and do better.

My dear friend Veronica kindly placed the vinyl on the frame and my friend Pam took our family walking hand in hand along the beach. I must say I had fun working with the lighting to give it that shadow look. 

My final product turned out great I think!

Festival of lights performance

I just love this sweet Kiki! 

Today she had her Christmas performance at the Festival of Lights.

She performed a jazz dance and a hip hop dance for the very first time.

Jon took her, Keilani, and Eden to Whattaburger after to celebrate.

We have a Tiger in the house

Jon signed Eden up for cub scouts a few weeks ago. Eden was so excited to get started. I think he wants to follow in his big brothers footsteps....lol
So far he is loving going to Tiger cubs, he is doing lots of fun activities and learning a lot.

Thanksgiving lunch with Eden and Kiki

Today was Thanksgiving lunch at O M Roberts elementary. 

Jon was able to join me in having lunch with them. 

They were so excited to have us there.

Yap! I gave in! I got an Elf on the Shelf.
Eden had been so naughty the past few weeks that I needed a little reinforcement and some incentives to having him want to be good and make good choices. Hope this helps!

Starbound National Dance Competition

This past weekend my girls competed at Starbound National Competition. They did great!
