Hee Haws

Every year, in October, it is one of our family traditions to go to Hee Haw Farms for a day filled with fall festivities. This year, Jon could not join us because of work. He was so bummed. But my mom and my brother Alex were able to join us. We had so much fun doing all sorts of activities. Here is a highlight of our afternoon at Hee Haws.

One of the kids absolute favorite things to do at Hee Haws is to jump on the Hay Stack. Here are some of their best shots.

Julien loved to catch and pet the animals in the petting zoo. He was so good at catching hens, be caught at least 4. He had so much fun. Below is a picture of him with his prize.

Logan was so set on catching a chicken, that he was running after a poor white hen non stop. He finally settled for a rabbit (It did not run away as fast as the chicken did.)

The boys also enjoyed the tire swing...

...more swings...

...a hay ride...

...a game of tag on a mini hay maze...

... going down slides...

and... a pony ride which was free!

The kids also participated in a pig race. For Alex's age group, he had to pick up the pig, cradle him and sing rock-a-bye-baby. Julien had to trap the pig and kiss it. Logan had to grab the pig with both hands an yell HEE HAW! Well believe it or not, that sift little Logan won the race.
