Keilani is here!!!!

Yesterday our sweet little Keilani was born! What an exciting day! I was a week past due,  on my way to my hopefully last check up, and oh so ready for her to be born already.
I thought it would be fun to arrive at my doctors appointment with an eviction notice for Keilani written on my belly. lol! The nurses and my doctor got a pretty good laugh.

Prior to leaving home for my appointment I could feel Keilani pushing down and thought that today would probably be the day although I was  feeling good and had no contractions.
Once I got to the doctors office and told them that I thought the baby was coming, they did not believe me because I was acting so calm. But I was insistent on seeing my doctor because I wanted to get scheduled for an inducement just in case, knowing that my mom and Jon were to return back to the states in a week, and I would be left alone with Kiki and Eden.
They monitored and checked me. Turns out I was already dilated to a 5 and was having regular contractions. They sent me to the Saad Hospital right away to get checked in. As soon as I was checked in, I called Jon so he could hurry here knowing that Saad Hospital is about 1 hr to 1 hr 15 away from the plant.

All checked in and ready for this baby girl to come!

Luckily Jon arrived quickly.
Keilani was born at 3.6 kilos just before 2 pm. Just 3 hours past my scheduled doctor appointment time. This girl came quickly! I was so happy to have had her natural with no epidural. This is one of my favorite time. The anticipation of her coming and the beauty, strength and capability female bodies have to create and give life! What an immense blessing from our Father in Heaven.
Keilani was born as healthy as could be so I was allowed to return home the very next day.

Keilani's face got a little bruised.

Happy daddy!

My mom, Kiki, and Eden came down as soon as they could to visit us.

A happy Mami

Jon and I had purchased babies for Kiki and Eden as a gift so they too could care for their very own baby!

My good friend Danielle had an inducement scheduled for the very same day.
So we ended up having our babies on the same day and our rooms were next to each other.
It was so fun to be able to visit each other. We spent a good hour or 2 last night talking (mostly about pokemon go and how we don't get it. lol), laughing. It was a time I'll never forget! Our babies had to stay in our individual rooms however until we were discharged from the hospital.
