11 already! Happy Birthday Julien!

Julien's birthday always gives me a little bit of anxiety because it seems that he is growing up way too fast and I am not ready for that. 11 years old today, can you believe it?

Julien has had an amazing year. He has done a wonderful job at school, getting very good grades, reading a LOT, making good friends. This year Julien also started piano and has become quite a good little pianist. He is still on the swim team and is improving a lot, being very proficient and at ease in the water. Julien has also earned his Webelos badge in scouting as well as his arrow of light! He was really excited about that. He loves scouting and is very eager to start with the eleven year old scouts.

Julien is the sweetest, kindest boy. He has a very big heart and loves to be friends with everybody. Julien is very very helpful. He is always helping me with Kia Ora, unloading the dishwasher, taking out the trash, and doing whatever I ask of him. He is also very intelligent and bright, and is OH... so HANDSOME!

For a birthday surprise Jon and I sprayed silly string all over him while he was playing video games.

Based on his smiling face, I think it would be fair to say that he had a good birthday!
