Christmas Recital

This weekend was Julien, Logan and Kia Ora's Christmas piano recital. They all did very well.

Julien played Christmas Time is Here, Logan played We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and Kia Ora played Silent Night. 

After the recital we took the kids out to lunch at Chick Fill A. 

It was a great family outing!

I love and cherish all the time have as a family. Soon Julien will be leaving us followed by Logan. Time is going too fast!

Christmas in the Park

This evening we went to the city of Clute "Christmas in the Park". Kiki had a little Christmas performance there. We went early to visit Santa! He was not very believable lol! And looked more like the Santa from the Elf movie who smelled like meat and cheese. Kiki and Eden seemed happy while Keilani was scared to even make eye contact!







We then roasted some marshmallows for s'mores.











Waited in line for a balloon animals.







And ended the evening watching Kiki perform. We had a great time!

letterman jacket

Logan brought home his letterman jacket today!
He was all smiles!
Looks pretty awesome!

Tonight Eden had cub scouts where he learned all about eating healthy snacks!

He had so much fun!

One more licensed driver

After much much wait, Logan finally has his drivers license!
Both he and I are glad that we can put all the DMV hassle behind us.
Logan went 3 months prior to take the test only to find out he was missing his VOE (verification of enrollment) which the DMV website did not mention we needed. Because of this he had to forfeit his test and had to wait 3 months to test again. He patiently waited on the day.
As he was beginning his test with the PT Cruiser and was going over the car with the attendant and was told once again he had to forfeit the test because the horn did not work.
Logan was so sad and frustrated about it.
I then asked if he could use my car which he could.
Within 10 minutes he was back with a big smile! He passed! I was finally a licensed driver!

shopping made easy

Someone had posted of facebook that they had 

made a goodie box for the delivery people.

I thought it was so clever that I decided to join in. 

We are spoiled with all the free pick up, free delivery service.

It has made shopping so much easier and convenient for us, 

the truth is someone is still doing the work.
