The Skate Park

Now that Jon does not have to work Saturdays anymore, he has been taking the boys to the skate park for an hour or so on Saturday mornings. The kids love it! Today, neither Jon nor I had to work so we took them, the boys were excited to show me all the new tricks they had learned. Here are a couple shots.

Julien took a pretty hard fall trying a new hill. His bike is not a bike meant to do tricks, it is much too big and heavy for that kind of riding. But the boy lives with no injuries besides a few scrapes on his knees, and sore wrists.

Here are some videos I took of Julien and Logan at the park. In the second video, you can actually see Jon running off to help Julien up from his fall. Poor kid!

Snow on May 24th?

Yes, we definitely do live in Utah. One of the only places I know of on earth where the weather is so indecisive. I woke up this morning to quite a terrifying site; a thick blanket of snow outside my window. As a matter of fact, it had snowed so much that some of the branches of the trees in our apartment complex broke, and power was flickering on and of all morning.

And when I got back from work just a few hours later, the snow had all melted, and the sun was out and shining.

Spring Soccer!

This week the boys finished their soccer league. They had a lot of fun even though their teams did not do great this year.

Easter weekend!

Easter weekend was great! We spent some of Saturday listening to conference. Then we woke up early on Sunday morning to fix up our semi annual General Conference brunch. We love to relax and eat while listening to the General Authorities. We very much enjoyed conference.

The Easter bunny had stopped by and dropped off a little something for the boys. During the break Jon and I spent some time cooking for an Easter Dinner later that night. We then met up with my parents later that evening for dinner, an Easter egg hunt, and an Easter Family home evening.




Dinner was delicious! Jon even had some for breakfast the next morning he loved it so much.

Audrey is Engaged!

Audrey got engaged to Joey on Thursday! He proposed to her while on their trip to Savannah. I am so excited for her. Joey is a very great guy and I am excited to have him be a part of our family as well.

Julien made this funny little man at school. He called it Scott. Julien loves it, he says that he is part of the family too. I thought it was so cute and funny that I wanted to share it with all of you.
