Loving braiding hair!

Now that Kia Ora's hair is getting long, I am loving braiding it and trying new up do's. She is pretty fond of it herself, especially when we tried princess Anna, and princess Elsa's hair from frozen!

Jamboree!

Julien joined a scout troop here. We did not expect that Saudi Arabia would have a scouting program. It was a nice surprise. Julien went to his first jamboree campout with his new troop. He had a blast!

Each morning Julien and Logan grab their longboard and scooter to catch the school bus which is just around the corner. They are so funny!

Today I walked into the bathroom to this! The bottle of hand soap I had just replaced 3 days prior was now nearly empty! Fun Times!

"Homework Time!"

I have been doing some "homework time" with Kiki since January now that we are all settled. She loves it and is doing so well! Here she drew a picture of her daddy and her mommy and herself. She wrote the O to her own name.

Bus monitor duty!

Today was my turn to be the bus monitor for Julien and Logan's school bus! I was a little nervous at first to go with Eden and Kiki, and have to be in charge of 25 kids especially since the afternoon bus duty is close to 2 hrs long and it falls during Eden's nap and feeding time, and Kia Ora's quiet time. But....... you got a do what you got a do!

My friend Nicole watched Eden for my morning duty, and Kiki had fun riding with all the kids. And during the afternoon route, the bus ride put Eden right to sleep.

Eden has been sitting on his own for a few days now without falling or wobbling. He and I are loving it, and Kiki too! It allows me to get a few more things done, and he loves seeing and grabbing more things. He is growing up so fast!
