Tubes for Eden

This little kiddo is such a trooper!

He got tubes put in today because he had had so many ear infections this past year!

I know putting in tubes is a simple procedure but it is always stressful and a little scary to have your little one go under. Funny conscience, the doctor who operated on Eden grew up in Dhahran, Aramco in Saudi. It's a small small world.

Busy summer for Kiki

This summer Kia Ora had the opportunity to do 2 dance camps at Body Logic Dance Studio as well as take some private swim lessons to improve her swim skills. She had quite a busy schedule but loved going to dance and her swim classes.

My brother T and his wife Maruia had their first baby!
Little Teave was born on July 22. He is so beautiful!
I was able to practice my photography skills on him and do a newborn shoot!
I still have much to learn but he is so dang cute that I think they turned out pretty good!

Tim Half

Tim Half is one of my favorite runs! I love to do this race, and I especially love to race it with Julien!

It makes me so happy to bond with him in this way. Although we don't run together because he is  way faster than me, it is an interest we have in common and I love how we push and motivate each other to do better.  

I think we both got pretty great time! Julien rocked it!

I'm so glad Jon and the kids came to support Julien and I.

It is nice to know that someone is waiting for you and cheering for you at the finish line!

Tired legs!

No mater how much I train, doing a half is always hard; especially those last 3-4 miles. 

But pushing through difficulties and achieving something you have been working towards is always so rewarding which is why I love it so much!

Julien got first place in his age division.

He did awesome! I am so very proud of him!

Draper Temple

My parents live a few blocks away from the Draper Temple. 

It has been so nice to be able to go nearly once a week during our trip!
I miss having a Temple so close to us.

Eden, Utah

I rented a timeshare in Eden, Utah for a few days for Jon's parents could have more one on one time with the kids. We always enjoy doing this! Always something fun to do all the while relaxing!

Eden's hair is getting so long...this kid is going to need a hair cut soon!

We were fortunate to have very nice weather while we were in Eden. 

So we got to swim a lot!!!!

Silly Daddy

Whenever we go to a timeshare we come prepared with a suitcase full of games. 

We just love to hangout, relax and play a few board games and card games.
