Back to School!

Julien was the first one to start school. He says that second grade is fun. And really likes his teacher.
Logan started kindergarten on Monday. He too was very excited to start. He wishes school was longer. I told him that that time would come soon enough.

In addition to starting school, Julien and Logan started some extra activities. Logan started soccer with provo city rec., on this first game he scored 2 goals. He is actually pretty good for being so little. Julien started karate at a studio in Orem. He is doing very good, and loves to go to his classes. He is very eager to earn his yellow belt.

Well, the kids are set for the new school year; Soon it will be Jon's turn to start. I don't think he is as excited as the kids were to start. But you can't blame him, BYU is at a different degree of difficulty then elementary school. What can I say, we can't all color, count to ten, and call it a day!!

Another half marathon

On saturday, I was able to run the Provo River Trail half marathon. This half marathon was tough, a lot harder then the Bryce Canyon one. But I was still able to beat my time by 5 minutes. I was pretty happy. My final time was 1 hour 52 minutes and 31 seconds.

27- Yep Jon's getting older

Another birthday, another year older! Yes, Jon is now lucky number 27. It was a wonderful 10 hour day at work. Having responsibilities is not always fun but what has to be done has to be done. When Jon got home, he was surprised to see the house decorated, and a delicious home made meal.

Julien and Logan spend a long time making birthday cards for Jon with masks cut out incorporated in the card. It was the cutest thing. They were so proud of their cards. Jon thought that they were very unique!!

Maeva had made a delicious curry Indian soup with potato and garlic flat breads as well as a very tasty creamy ice cream birthday cake.

Julien is 7!!!

Is it even possible for us have a 7 year old already? Look at cute Julien is sporting his new heely's. Julien is growing up fast and becoming a very caring and loving big brother.

For Julien's birthday we went to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, and ate at one of our favorite Mexican restaurant, Bajio. Thiefaine was in town and was able to celebrate it with us. The kids were really glad to see him.

Julien in his new Red Power Ranger costume. Oh! So cool!!!
