Belle's Dance

Julien went to his first high school dance here at Brazosport last night, the Belle's dance. 

He went with a few friends from church.

I had fun being the designated parent driver!

Logan's first ROTC rank

Logan made his first rank last night! Pretty exciting!

He really enjoys doing ROTC and has been nominated many times for his dress.

We've been working on hand to foot stretch in class. Some of the girls were surprised that I could still do it at my old age. LOL!

This Cute Boy!

Eden is such a sweet sweet boy! He loves his family so much! He woke up this morning telling me he loved to snuggle with me and with his family! 

Grandma and Grandpa come to visit

This past weekend Jon's parents came for a visit. We had a quiet relaxing visit. Jon's dad helped Jon replace the shower door in our bathroom. That was a lot of work!

Grandma tagged along to Kiki's friend's birthday party at the roller rink. Kia Ora had so much fun skating around.

On Sunday we went to church after which we played games and celebrated Galette des Rois!

MLK parade

Today Logan and his good friend Matthew along with their ROTC group was able to march at the Martin Luther King parade in Freeport!

Swim meet

The boys had a swim meet today! This is their first meet of the season I have been able to go to. I love seeing them compete. It is a lot of fun. 

They both did a relay, and swim the 50 and 100 free. Although Julien miss his 100 free race...

They both did very well.

She went and got her hat and purse and carried them around all day.

Mirror mirror on the wall

Today I finally picked up my mirror!

I love it!

I got this beautiful piece about 8 months ago in Bahrain. 

I was told it was originally the window of a mosque from India I believe.

The glass broke during transportation and after fighting with the cargo company they finally agreed to pay for some of the repairs.

Even though this ordeal has been very stressful I am so happy to have this beautiful piece from a place I love so dearly in my home.

This year, like most New Year's Eve is pretty low key. 

We had a nice dinner including our family tradition of eating fondue (chocolate fondue this year) followed by some games, and an early bedtime for all. LOL!
